The restored barn at Highland Oaks is a banquet hall with room for up to 300 guests, set on 36 private acres in Palmyra, Indiana, about 25 minutes from Louisville. If you are planning a reception, a rehearsal dinner, a company gathering, or a family celebration, the property is yours for the day, with open sky in every direction and nothing but trees at the property line.
The Barn
The barn is a restored, open floor plan space that seats up to 300. Tables and chairs are included, and our crew sets them up and takes them down. A prep kitchen sits off the main floor for your caterer, space heaters and fans keep the room comfortable through the seasons, and guest restrooms are on site. A speaker and microphone setup is available for toasts, presentations, and playlists. Parking is free and on the property.
More Than Weddings
Weddings fill most of our Saturdays, but the barn works just as well for rehearsal dinners, showers, corporate events, family reunions, and other private gatherings. Food and Drink
Catering is open. Bring any licensed caterer you like and hand them the prep kitchen. Bar service is managed on site by Highland Oaks, so you do not need to arrange your own alcohol, and outside alcohol is not permitted.

Wedding rentals are published on our pricing page, starting at $1,900, no inquiry required. Private events and banquets are quoted per event, based on the day, the season, and what you need, so reach out with your date and we will put a number together.
Getting Here
Highland Oaks is at 4175 US Highway 150, Palmyra, IN 47164. The drive is about 25 minutes from downtown Louisville and about 90 minutes from Indianapolis. For out of town guests, hotels in Corydon and New Albany are 15 to 25 minutes away.
